Up to 80% cuts

In the US, some government institutions will have to make cuts of up to 80%. Many of these institutions conduct scientific research into, for example, the prevention of diseases, or research into the weather. With the funding being cut off, many scientists are losing their jobs.
Europe has now suddenly become a very attractive alternative for these scientists, and that's not bad for Europe either.
The brain drain from the US could give an enormous boost to scientific research in Europe.
Too bad for the US, but a very interesting opportunity for Europe... They should seize that opportunity with both hands. After all, those scientists are worth their weight in gold, and the US apparently doesn't want them anymore.
