    The Trump administration is going to reimburse migrants $1,000 and travel expenses if they agree to leave the country. 1 For many people, that will be a good reason to take the offer. It would be quite a stunt if the US then soon begged them to return. There's a chance of that happening, because there's a severe shortage of unskilled workers willing to work hard for little money.

    I have a friend who worked for Yahoo! back in the 2000s. They'd lay him
    off, pay him a severance, then re-hire him, lay him off, repeat several
    times. With his salary plus severance, he was doing pretty well - and
    was employable when he wasn't working for them.

    It's not a very good deal because NYC will pay them more than that to stay here and do more rapes and murders.
