Never before has one needed to disable an ad blocker to read an article/webpage, until recently. If they want to shove that
many cookies down our throats, or bombard us with
advertisements, or force one to give up their location, I'm not
interested enough to use their site.
Agreed. If I could pick the ads for products that I wanted or
needed, it'd be a different story.
Over 20 years ago, before my wife passed away, I got items
addressed to me in the mail and email for feminine hygiene
products. Being a smart-aleck, I said "maybe I should check
into this". She growled, "Don't even think about it!!". <G>
I got the same reaction when we went to get our flu shots.
They have since modified the consent form to note "WOMEN ONLY"
for the question about being pregnant. <G>
